You're right obviously, but when newbies enter the market they care about p any of that. Remember, XRP a centralised coin run entirely to benefit one company was practically the best performer of the 2017/18. I wouldn't hold Solana long term but short term who knows what could happen.

    sleep is for the poor.
    :)

figure out what sort of trading you want to do.

if day trading, your money will be on an exchange most of the time, so make use of their tools,(i.e. set stop-loss trades). if you want to hodl, keep it in a cold wallet, and don't look at prices every 5 minutes will just send you crazy.

I reinvested my paltry profits from the first dip a week or so ago into the same coins I sold. Fingers crossed.

My mindset has nearly always been to HODL but i like to look at the swings just the same, they just dont bother me anymore as i am not cashing out anytime soon.

damn the market is strong; in the face of FATF, SEC, infrastructure bill, outright ban in china, evergrande and the fact we've been in a bull market for so long it's really holding up.

market is big enough and distributed enough it can ride these things out.

there'd have to be a move global ban (US + EU) before things really broke.

China is imploding anyway, they've "lost Xi plot". more restriction of freedoms for their people, rattling the cage of the US, pissing off their trade partners.

Yeah, the China facade is looking thin. They need to get into representative politics a lot more than this sham. Covid-19 was a clear example of how broken things are with their method.

I'm probably wrong but didn't china ban crypto a year or so back and then relented? or were they just talking about it

China seems to ban it at various times.
Right now they seem to be really clamping down on citizens on various things western I fluence and riches being 1
Right now they seem to be having a crack at trying to control crypto

    Only in Sichuan province iirc.

This looks to be a bit more substantial. I am happy they are doing this. Having so much crypto wrapped up in one place goes against the DEFI dreams.

I HODL too. Ive seen my portfolio drop 60% and them bounce back up. But my current investment strategy is diversify and hopefully one of the many many coins ive invested in will make me rich

Ive dropped another 1k over the last weeks dip and hopefully another 1k if it remains like this

I have faith in TKO, GALA, DODO, SHIBA (have about 100M lol), CELR, ONE, FTM, CFX, and XEC to name a few

Also waiting for Mandala to be listed on binance, if ever. I think it has the potential to break $100+

    anyone gambling on DeFI platforms?

seems every other day there's a news story of one or another with a fucked up smart contract the gets hacked and/or gives millions of token away willy nilly. then they plead for the 'bad guys' to give the money back. seems 100% amateur hour. why aren't the contracts tested/validated/audited before going live.

todays example Compound losing ~$150million and because of their governance system, it'll keep happening until a change can take effect in at least a weeks time.

Assume its a pump and dump of shiba?
