"You are only as good as your last game" must ring in the ears of game developers Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne, Alan Wake) being as that last game was the forgettable Quantum Break - a paid for experiment in TV / Game tie-in. How the mighty have fallen...

What it did have going for it however, were some very trippy visuals and combat mechanics that seem to have filtered down to their next project "Control"

    Reveal trailer E3:

Could this be their surprise hit? - this game is flying under the radar atm but hopefully will deliver a solid experience.

    All platforms (afaik)

Would be nice if they did some mechanics similar to what was found in the first prey game to help with the weirdness. Changing gravity direction, being shrunk or enlarged, Tardis rooms or even entire levels "inside" a cupboard would make it far more interesting than just having shit floating around.

Hopefully it's not just floating stuff and jumpscares.

I think it will review well.

EDIT: probably the same level as Quantum Break or a bit higher since they're not doing the TV show part of the game now.

Waiting for game play reviews instead of videos gushing over "ray tracing".

As someone who's played both Alan Wake and Quantum Break, I think this game should be pretty good based just off that lineage. Not, "I must get it day one good" but rather something I will definitely pickup in future.

This also works for me because I'm not ready to buy an RTX card yet, so hopefully the two can meet at the same time. :)

The game looks great without RT but looks better with it haha.

I just want to preload it and stream it :)

    1) I'm more interested in the "game" part of a game, than the "pictures" part. Graphics age, always. Even the best ones. Gameplay matters most.

    2) Current video game "ray tracing" (quotes, because it's not really) is making all the same visual design mistakes Hollywood did 20 years ago, and its frustrating. *Especially* speaking as someone who worked on movies for a long time.
