Holy crap, that canister is identical...
Thank you! I need a massive bundle of wires. like what you see in the telecommunication's box for a building...at least how I remember them 20 years ago. lol
Yesterday I painted the 2x 120mm cooling fans from the Cooler Master HYPER N620, will post those photos soon!
140mm Aerocool Fan for the exhaust, was also painted Matte White
Fan Grill made from Round Modder's Mesh, http://www.mnpctech.com/moddersmesh.html
nice...how did u paint them? just pull them apart? or.....well yea...
love your work. Wish i had the time and ideas like you guys
can't wait to see it finished
You can take them apart, or mask off everything. Here is the Prawn canister installed, I've added a 4" White cold cathode light between the front intake plate and bezel.
The lighting needs to be dimmed down a bit,for a more eerie looking feel
man that looks bloody awesome as always!, keep up the good work! cant wait to see the finished product
that looks really good but definatly needs a bit dimmed for the eerie look to it!
Holy shit thats quality modding
I've gotta keep plugging away at this, so it's finished in time to be shipped to Vegas for the 2010 CES.
Whats this? It's a cannibalized Mitron Interlink, 3.5" bay fan controller
Merry Christmas to you too, though only an hr left of it here
are those switches gunna be surrounded my something or left open like that?
when is the CES BTW? must be cool making a case that is gunna be seen there by thousands!!
Yes, open! this was from District-9, didnt you seen Christopher's shack?
Jan 4 - 7th I believe
Mnpctech Painter, Brad Galvin starts the transformation from pristine to weathered and dilapidated. He starts by creating the illusion of a scratched-up exterior, imagine Christopher dragged his computer in the gravel. Did he have to wrestle it away from somebody at one time?
The Orange & White exterior finish has been scratched done to the bare metal. This is done by hand using enamel "One Shot" Silver paint and a paint brush.
Notice the paint is chipped around the bullet holes.
Brad has painted a variety of Prawn insignia, language and graphics by hand. The bolts are given weathered effects. Christopher left his PC out in the rain. ....Acid rain perhaps?
There was an expolsion in the right side panel at one time.
wow that looks awesome!
and i didnt take much notice of the set in the movie LMAO
It's amazing the effects you guys can do with paints!!
and yea u dont havce long to finish the case but then again it looks nearly completely finished
sweet jesus that looks amazing, painting skills of the gods!
That really looks amazing, the paint is just phenominal!
Daaayyym that is going to be sooo mad when its done!!
wish they let you make a watercooled pc, then you could have had black coolant just like the prawn fluid in the movie, oh well.
