In all honesty, it comes down to individual skill. Two days ago, a massive VAC wave happened and everyone found it easier to rank up - so the hackers were gone.

I've played many a game with griefers, nothing much you can do about it unless you manage to outskill them by such a margin that you end up carrying them anyway. I've been smurfing on my mate's silver 4 account, in a week it hit nova master. I've won against some blatant wallers (with shit aim) and won with one or two griefers on my team. If you really don't want a fuckwit on your team, of course it's best to play with your mates, but sometimes I just solo q for an "easier" game.

Played casual with friends. Had 3x wallers in a single lobby alone. We baited him and got a few reports off.

    Definitely not detected/still bad.

Yep, they're not going to stop cheating and people aren't going to stop cheating, might as well just not bother with competitive.

I thought Cs:go is more immune to hacks than earlier releases?

There's a lot more players now so there will be more hackers. Valve can fix this by making vac more intrusive.

You'd think so, especially with all the money being generated from cases and even the market, but nope.

Sad thing is that ESEA has a better MM experience than Valve has. All Valve seems to care about is money made from case openings.

The game is whatever you make of it..

I have only been playing for about 5 weeks, starting at silver 1 and now at Nova 2 with ~90hrs played. MM is a bit shit sometimes and can be very uneven but overall the competitive side is pretty damn good for what it is.

ESEA is going to attract the more serious players who are looking to practice different strategies etc so of course the level of gameplay is going to be higher / more serious.

Unity never seems to have anyone on it. What's FaceIt and ESEA? Got links?

    ESEA

    FaceIt

ESEA is pay to play against decent people who rage at you for mistakes you make, but cheat free environment

FaceIt has buggy servers but it's a free version of 128 tick pugs

Nah, one of the big cheat sites only had about 1% of users detected.

Also, big ups to Immunity last night. Really put NiP under stress. Didn't see the end of Mirage but 14-16 on Dust II  Few small mistakes which would have got them the map win.
