CPU upgrade help? Ryzen or Intel

    -1 tomahawk, get the tomahawk max.

    Also give the 1600AF a miss, it'll be a downgrade in gaming performance.

    Also stream using NVENC, not h.264 to take the load off your CPU.

    I went with 3700x and X570 board (due to a promo going which has now ended), but if i was to do it over again with no current promos, I would go with a 3600 and the MSI tomahawk MAX
    There CAN be some small glitches, mainly with RAM, but just make sure you have/get RAM that can do at least 3200Mhz and you should be ok...
    I just got the Crucial Ballistix 3200 (AES)
    Though it did all work fine with lower clocked ram as well, just a tad slower

    3600 + Tomahawk Max + cheapass Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 @ XMP, smooth sailing, would do again but if you're coming from a hex core w/out HT I'd go at with a 3700X.

    But all in all I'd simply wait until Ryzen 4 + Nvidia 3000 series drop at the end of the year.
