Nice set Squeezer - numbers 5 to 7 are my faves.

As you probably know, the birds in number 2 are Pied Oystercatchers.

    Regards

#7 was taken at the lookout above "The Blowhole" near Pt Arthur. The actual blowhole itself I though was rather lame though. We saw a much better blowhole yesterday at Bicheno.

Re: The Oystercatchers I had taken a photo of an ID plate at one of the parks to refer to later but you've saved me the effort - thanks

    Some new ones

#9 Sunset at Freycinet - Richardsons Beach ( The only day out of 5 that has managed a sunset/sunrise :upset: )

#10 Low Bush "grass" at Moulting Lagoon. The Vignetting was not added by me. It was the combo of a 70-200 with a 1.4x TC and the UV filter on the front, but I still like it.

#11 SeaPower - Blowhole at Bicheno

The plan to go to St Helens and Bay of fire have been decimated with local flooding in the NE of Tasmania, with major road closures. We have had to forfeit our pre paid accomodation :upset::upset: at St Helens as you just cant get there anymore :upset:

At one point as we listed to the radio it seemed there would be a chance we would be stuck mid town with roads cut off behind and in front but the road in front was partially open still with one lane and landslides across the road on the way to St Marys

Some great photos and makes me a bit homesick. Shame you didnt get to St.Helens as its my old hometown and would have been great to see some photos as I havent been back in about 14 years now.

St Columba falls is wetter than Ive ever seen it, awesome.

We did get back to St Helens. Was a Big detour to head back there from Launceston. The Car Moonlighting photos in the other thread were taken from a campground at the Bay of fires where we managed to squeeze one night in.
