Demand for 3000 series mining cards will always be strong as long as mining is profitable.
This week (from today), there's less "in stock for fast delivery" on the Dell website
Best they have is a 3070 based machine for $2232 after LOVEKEANU and an alienware with 3060ti and ryzen 5800 (non X) for $2175 after using both LOVEKEANU and DAISY codes.
Scorptec just listed a Gigabyte 3090 Turbo for $3.2k, I was considering buying it, 5 minutes later they upped the price to $3.8k. This is absurd.
I saw that, absolutely crazy the prices at the moment
Mining profitability will probably take a hit when Ether moves to POS. Might see an influx of 2nd hand cards then.
Not to mention mining is a bit on the nose these days too, in terms of energy consumption, gpu shortages etc.
Wait, what the fuck is a 3090 Turbo?
Buy Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Turbo 24GB [GV-N3090TURBO-24GD] | PC Case Gear Australia
A shitty 2 slot blower style with reduced base clock? Cool.
3.5 fucking grand!? this shit is ABSURD
It's never been a better time to be a gamer.
i'll buy one. just to stick it to them.
Maybe if its a good miner, people might be able to get RTX 30 cards
chances are it won't be available in volume due to miners. yeh you betcha. anywho they are welcome to them.
Shamelessly stolen from the Friday Funnies.
at least man has his priorities straight ain't no one paying 3.5 for a video card lol
He traded a 2080Ti for this, the kidney was cash adjustment to the seller, buyer pays scalpel.
not with 256 bit bus. its like an amd 6800 i guess
6800 does 62Mh/s at 99-101W (under-volt with more power tool), not terrible.
I honestly can't get over the pricing, my 3080 was something like $1700 the same card is now $3000 8 months later.
@ $1700 it seems so over priced for what it is, sure it draws nice pictures but it certainly makes consoles much more appealing, 3k+ is insane.
Even my old 1080ti would still fetch an obscene amount of money for where it sits these days.
Does any seriously see them ever coming back down close to RRP?
