Seeing as the release date has been broken, many of us are starting to install the full version, so I decided that we should have a new thread for full version to detach itself from the demo thread. I just picked it up then, and will be installing it tonight :D

One thing that's really getting on my nerves is that the enemy has frickin super hearing. You can't snipe anyone, at all, even with a silenced weapon, without the rest of the troops hearing you and either calling for reinforcements or having that helicopter turn up :( That's annoying. I don't want to gung-ho, I want to sneak around silently killing people.

I reckon it might be a bug though, as I find if you tranq them first (with the dart), then shoot them, most times it goes unnoticed. Annoying anyway.

OMG ending already? How long does the game take to play through?

Sniping in the demo was ok, the enemy would crack the sads and look around but wouldnt know where you are specifically, makes sense to me

How long does it take to finish? Can't say I'll be too keen on spending $100 if its all over in 8 hours worth of play.

My problem with it is that if an enemy is picked off silently, out of view of anyone else, the rest of the camp shouldn't automatically know it's happened :D

Also, I dread to think how we're all going to go when we get to the all ice levels :\ I just got to a bit where there's a room that's 'iceified', and my FPS dropped to 8 :) That's with an 8800GT KO and a Q6600 at 3.6ghz :0

If this keeps up, when we get to the ice levels we'll have to drop everything to low :D

I think i have too much light in the room, as it seems that retail IQ looks worse then the Demo IMO. I think it might just be too much light shining through my windows.

Ok, is the performance same as the DEMO??

Freaks, no driver from ATI as yet.

Still only uses 1 core. I was running the game at 1920*1200 - all settings very high - Shadows at medium - No aa - DX10 - 3GB Ram - 3.2GHz Quad, game play was a little jerky, I will do a time demo right now.

Turning down Post Processing from Very High to Medium makes a massive different to performance and has a negligible impact upon image quality.

Assuming you're crazy enough to run it at VHigh in the first place!

As i've said earlier, the Demo on my rig (see sig) will only run with everything on medium at 1920X1200. Once you hit the Ice levels then you need to go even lower :(
