Ok, so a good friend of mine reckons... that though he cant see any visual differences betwenn 60, 99 , 300 fps.... He reckons there is a difference with the crosshair... the claim is that... when you "spam" for eg an AK-47, and then he says to watch the time it takes for the cross hair to get back into normal position... The claim is that it takes longer for 60fps than 100fps... that the crosshair gets back into normal position FASTER on 100fps... than 60fps... anyone know anything about this?
yes, back when i used to play cs - this is VERY evident... that's why i switched vsync off - so that the recoil of the crosshair goes away sooner... note - it doesn't affect the gun's firing itself (unless someone can correct me)- it's just your aiming is alot more difficult when the crosshair is huge.
ok thanks for clearing that up, But surely, this cant be something to do with FPS,.... the fps command must do something with the crosshair?.... I mean, theres no way in the world, that the recoil is going back faster beacuse of 40 more fps.... I mean, our eyes wouldnt be able to differ from 60 to a 100??? fps command --> fiddling with the crosshair?
