General water pipe layout, not so keen on acrylic, petg pipe now, will prolly go chrome/silver shining or true brass/gold plated brass 12/10mm with a balanced mix of gentle bends and using fittings for tight bends.
I generally dont like the look of most 90 degree or greater metal pipe bends in WC projects and personally not a fan of the copper look.
Anyway, something to research while im away

BP True brass fittings, they dont seem to make matching pipe though
This colour would really stand out in the tint and chrome theme the case has

    Silver/chrome and fittings look

Then there is the cable solution, im thinking black chrome various sized pipe from a hobby supply shop or something to make them blend into the background layer

Z, not X. No AMD trolls in my thread lol :):p

edit: just read ROG Impact series is EOL so i have the last one made, the VIII Z170, so i can slap a 7700K in that and be happy for a few years, i have CL14 3200 ram in it too and BP makes a nice semi-full cover block for it. The big downside of this board and probably what accelerated it's demise is there is no m.2 SSD support

12 vs 14 vs 16mm pipe. 14 is the sweet spot for me personally but still making a decision, going 12 means saving money on adapters. All sizes have 0.7mm thick walls so to bend 12mm you just use a 1/2" copper pipe bending spring which fits in perfectly. To bend 14mm you use a 1/2" 12.7mm diameter spring which is a tight fit but works

Experiment bending the pipe, not as bad as the internet community makes bending electroplated hard brass tube out to be but still get slight imperfections in the plating. I'll make slight bends and using fittings for 90 degree turns
