    Hi All.

As a few members have PM'd me asking for more photos, details of the stand I posted I thought I would make a thread for pics.

I wanted something unique and there was no real good looking headphone stands out there. So I made my own with spare materials left over from my case mod. It suits my desk very nicely.

I was toying with the idea of having some mesh in the middle section but I prefer the more neutral look of it with no mesh.

Construction is with 3mm plexi, this one is a mix of clear and dark tint. Future ones will be a single colour or a mix again. Feet are marine grade stainless steel bolts with rubber feet.

I'd like to make my own stand one day.

    PS: Tread carefully.

very nice work.. I was going to make a headphone stand of my own but I found one of those glass head things in a cupboard at work and decided to use that instead. Laziness won in the end for me :p

    Good job

    Nice job.

Don't know how it would look but maybe more rounded edges. Especially on the insides of the base and the arm the phones hang off.

Maybe use some of the black Ryan fan grill for the up right and cross supports? As well some sandwhiched in the base?

These are the only thing that sprang to mind:

    http://www.musicdirect.com/product/86477

But at US$180 + postage, they're not cheap.

Great job on the plexi stand! Should keep your cans happy at the same time as looking snazzy ;-)
