Ah nice! I did some searching and found this. It is a link to the jobs page with 2 listings. RPG in a brand new setting RPG in a dark fantasy world Perhaps the Witcher related news in the quote above is for the Witcher 3! Whatever it is I am looking forward to seeing what they are doing. I love Cyberpunk and Steampunk etc and CD Projekt are pretty much guaranteed to get my money
CDP is going straight to the top with their games. I see them becoming one of those developers like Blizzard and Rockstar. Cannot wait to see what they have in store for the future.
I just hope that this isn't going to be like Dragon Age/Mass Effect, where the engine has the same limiting factors ...and that shooting doesn't feel like TW with guns tacked on
Hopefully without letting petty technical bullshit drag them down. Will it be devved for consoles? That was ME's main limitation.
They've established that if they do it right the PC sales thrive. If they follow the same release plan they did for the Witcher 2 I would see no issues in it.
I can't wait for this. The witcher 2 was the best game in a long time. I'm hoping they had a team working on it while developing the xbox version of witcher 2, so with any luck we won't have to to wait too long for its release!
Bring on the kickstarter! i want that blue jacket, those glasses, and oh yeah the game ( concept design's are better than prey 2 IMHO )
Oh wow! Let's hope budgetary and time constraints won't end up hacking this up and the devs can deliver all they are wanting to do with this game. I loved the Cyberpunk RPG. Played too many hours of it in my past. Sticking this into a computer game would be great!
They said something about having 2 teams. One is working on Cyberpunk; what about the other team? EDIT: Oh wait, they're working on the Mac Witcher 2.
PNP rulesets rarely translate to AAA multiplat (probably) RPGs. I'll reserve excitement until I see how they interpret this.
I don't know if I'd call them AAA multiplatform titles Either way, I doubt these guys will screw it up
Looks at "Shadowrun" reboot of recent years that was a ridiculous FPS load of tosh. Looks at Cyberpunk press release. Sends love to CDP. This looks very exciting, one of my favourite genres to be given the treatment it deserves.
