DLSS 2.0 actually works as intended and doesn't look like utter garbage (DLSS1.0)... highly recommend switching to the 2070s for gaming purposes, free FPS boost.

yeah, this game was one of the only things making me think about going nvidia just for dlss. Certainly worth a look if you have the hardware to try it.

On that note, Surprisingly amds scaling options in this game look reasonable on amd hardware vs the 1080ti. That just looked horrible for whatever reason. Probably nvidia drivers gimping it somehow just because it has amd in the name. lol

Note: I still wouldn't use it. but hey. It's there. :p

I tried the AMD cas scaling/sharpening thing on my 5700xt before I got the 3070 and it looked like absolute garbage, anything below 90% was just pure turd.

Yeah, certainly looked like that when I tried on the 1080ti.

Seemed to fare much better on the 6900xt. Lacks that crisp edge of running native, But miles ahead of that blurry mess it was. If you really need that extra 40-50fps, it's a reasonable trade off I guess.

The only real 'good' use for it in my opinion is as dynamic resolution to guarantee consistent smooth fps above 60 if your gpu can't maintain it naturally.

A group of people have been testing perks/mods/items and found a bunch that simply dont work. This is unrelated to patch 1.1, they were broken from the start.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16w3LQBa8oRxQLIEVcXfLE1_vlAFO_zjq-WrKQoixgRQ/htmlview#

Additional to things being broken, when you enter a clothing store for the very first time you have a chance for the store to sell legendary patterns. If you dont buy those patterns on the first visit, the next time you go back the patterns will not be available and will never again be available.

Since 1.1 I get crashes to desktop which I didn't have before. Unfortunately I didn't have any of the bugs that were fixed in that patch :(

I'm kind of surprised anyone is still playing it to even experience the latest patch.

I'm slowly making my way through it as I find time. I like the game, all the side quests are great and like Deus Ex there are some interesting philosophical decisions to make. I doubt they'll have much effect on the main story, but I'm not looking to race through and finish it asap.

Im on my 4th character and 360+ hours deep. I havent reached the Takemura quest since patch 1.1 so I will soon find out if it breaks for me.

Its still a really fun game to play in my opinion, even with all the issues, although Ive been relatively problem free with issues that would break the game.

Out of interest, what was the main game you were playing before this?

I dont really have a main game. I like to play a game for a while and move on to something else.

Diablo3 - when there is a new season
    Elder scrolls - modded Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind
Dirt - not as many hours
GTA - I keep going back through all the old titles
COD - I try to get into this series but get bored faster than other games.

There are also periods of time where I dont game at all if something doesnt interest me
