was announced before the game even came out if you don't like the game or appreciate anime, You may not be which is ok, their animation work is S-Tier.

Some of their pedigree in their past is stuff like Neon Genesis Evangelion/Kill-a-Kill & Star Wars Visions.

I'm with power, it's not a medium I typically enjoy. The over-dramatized acting, overt explanation of every single plot point, and slow/dragged out pacing I've seen too many times throws me off anime as a whole.

I do love the cyberpunk universe though so I will give it a chance.

Based on your description you've only watched Shonen style anime. There's some brilliant anime out there that doesn't follow the tropes of Shonen stuff. Maybe have a look around at stuff unlike the Naruto/DBZ/Bleach's of the medium.

I'm with Unframed. He hit it right on the head the only people who say that are either unfamiliar or only exposed to Shonen/Isekai style anime (dbz/naruto etc) the stuff we're talking about is about that other other and is the corner stone for alot of media gaming etc till this day and going forward.

I don't like movies cause it felt like I just wasted 3 hours waiting for the boat to sink.

I'm fine with being uninformed/ignorant to a form of media. There is only so much time in one lifetime and only so many things one can choose to be devoted to. Maybe Edgerunners will be a good exposure point :)

You aren't being uninformed/ignorant :) as I said above, time is a finite resource we can't all be into all of the same things and that's totally ok we just try to do our best :)

Not a fan of opinions that are based on limited experience, much like the people stating as fact that this game is bad after only watching the bug highlight video.

I didn't say it was bad, I said it wasn't something I typically enjoy. It's also more like broadly saying I don't like open world RPGs because of the design choices many of them make. There are outliers but not everything is made for everyone. I've also already said I will be giving Edgerunners a watch.
