Yeah I'm having a relatively bug-free blast, cool game.
I'm having a good experience so far but not that far into it yet due to dad life . Minor bugs I've seen so far is looking in mirror and having no hair (Character does have hair) and one part Jackie looks like he walk through a couple of lockers like a ghost if there were others I haven't noticed them.
Settings wise I'm on a 3080 and running max all settings on a 1440p 165hz refresh screen and used DSR settings to run it 4k. FPS counter seems to fluctuate between maybe 62-80fps but generally around the 70ish mark. Very happy with how it is running, have to say these 3080's though really seem to push out alot of heat.
After playing for awhile I can feel a tonne of hot air coming out of my case.
I think I found that one. Got some neat pants out of it.
The world building is definitely growing on me and I am finding more and more little details like that around the place.
Interesting because I am running 3090 and with 4k, max everything, DLSS quality and CAS off, I get like 30-40...
I have the DLSS on the highest setting so assume it is that working its magic to keep fps up higher.
what is the "highest" setting?
Sounds counter productive to have dlss on the highest performance setting just to use dsr to downsample from 4k on a 1440p monitor. Maybe try 1440p and dlss @ quality? Performance is upscaling from 1080p iirc.
3440x1440 with a couple of settings turned to medium (the cascading shadows one mostly as they tanked performance) and dlss on quality with ultra raytracing I am getting around 55-60 most of the time. Give or take.
exactly. I am playing 4k @ quality DLSS.
Thanks will play around with those suggestions when I have time
FWIW the story curves a lot quicker than you expect.
30 hours in and I felt like I had another 30 to go at the minimum.
Doesn't help I feel like I busted the game pretty early, I went with a stealth/hacking build and I was critting bosses for 1/4 of their health. Picked up a cyberdeck with crit rolls, running around with 20 ram/8 slots with stuff all cool down. Request backup into Contagion with quick hack spread and crit damage cleared mobs with ease. Bosses were the various damage quickhacks into synapse burnout and that was it.
Started a new char on hard, running with shotguns/melee and it's definitely hard, already making me use crafting which is neat. I actually enjoy the different ways to handle combat and situations and planning into different builds which is something.
sorry if this has already been posted
[PC] Cyberpunk 2077 ₽1999 (~A$36.47) @ GOG (VPN Required)
Ive gone off him after a few recent videos, seems to be trying too hard to be funny/edgy/different and ive disagreed with a few things he has said on other titles.
But yes there is bugs and AI can suck, hoping they are both improved with some patches, is why I am not throwing too much time at game currently.
His claim of "buggiest game ever" is a stretch, has this dude ever played an rpg before, they always seem to have the most issues, probably because they have the most pathways to choose from instead of running in a straight line.
Yeah, review was way over the top - looks like he is just going after clicks
the algorithm loves releases like this, generates so much content.
anyone find the portal easter egg?
i'm glad i found it before everyone started talking about it.
There are a few references scattered in missions and the world, they are best to be organically discovered and put a smile on your face when you come across them and recognise it.
Less of a spoilery one though, go check the bathroom in your apartment if you haven't already.
speaking of, i do love the amount of just climbing you can do. I just randomly climbed a building up into some balcony and there was a body there, lead to a side mission.
Now I feel the urge to climb everywhere.
also, best FPS cover system in recent memory.
