Thats very cool, i'll be sure to do some more vertical exploring, i've mostly been exploring street level. It'll be good to see the city from different elevations too, I've been a bit of a shutterbug with photo mode.
Gotta get the high jump leg mod. The double jump doesn't go as high as a charged jump, it's more for longer distance.
even without leg mods you can do a lot of vertical climbing about the place. I literally just unlocked double jump and haven't used it yet!
The high jump mod is really nice for getting up on places the enemies can't see easily or reach. Would be amazing for a sniper build.
Anyone else playing a blade build? I'm stacking crit chance/dmg with coldblood perks for speed/healing.
Well my crafting has finally paid off. Got a full set of legendary/iconic guns (the explosive sniper, a special pistol you get in an important story mission, an ajax rifle modded for non-lethal for psyberpsycho missions, shotgun and my regular rifle) and a full set of (horrible looking) legendary clothes. Might get the Tabula Rasa and reset all my perks lol.
Iconic items don't scale with level do they? It's a real shame that I got them so early on, I want to keep/use said special pistol throughout the game.
just like TW3 do not become attached to any weapons (he says even though I've been using the same three guns for a while now). I find myself scooping everything up and then breaking it down so i can craft ammo and upgrade my best weapons. Also i love using the big mounted guns
I used the venom sword from hearts of stone pretty much till the end of of the main game and at least part way into Blood and wine.. And yeah the amount of weapon drops is pretty annoying in CP77 really, the inventory isn't doing us any favours either with all the samey weapons. I usually opt to ignore gun pickups until I feel like trashing them and then keep highest stats rather than swapping every 2 minutes
unfortunately some people respond positively to this kind of thing, i prefer the original Zelda formula, couple weapons, couple swords, couple outfits. rest of the time, just playing, xp, rupees - this is more fun than spending a bunch of time in the menus. i don't want to play a menu simulator.
At least some of the Iconic guns you can upgrade through crafting. The sniper rifle came from a boxing mission as an Epic/Iconic and I was able to upgrade it to Legendary/Iconic, same with my regular lethal rifle but that came from a gang hideout mission. My silenced pistol came as I think as just Rare/Iconic and I upgraded it twice to be Legendary/Iconic as you pick it up during an early story mission. The main thing with iconic guns is you do need to keep the gun itself to upgrade it. If you disassemble it's gone forever and you can't get it back. Edit - Got the Perk Reset: * Kept a handful of crafting perks (a couple upgrade ones, the one that lets me craft Level 3 health packs and the grenade damage one) * All the assault perks up to my current Level 16 Reflexes score. * A few basic hacking & stealth perks. * The basic shotgun damage & reload perks. * 7 of the Athletics perks for better health & regen. And I still have 4 left over
Give this ago for anyone that wants to squeeze a bit more performance - https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkg...cd_projekt_red_i_think_you_shipped_the_wrong/
i noticed my pc putting out very little heat (used to running too many shitty UE4 and Unity games I guess). Might poke this after backing up my saves, although I think GoG has a cloud save thing going.
Yeah, agreed. I found myself just keeping the coolest looking swords in W3, and would only upgrade to a better sword if it was also cool looking. The less time I spend in the menu, the better. It's kinda like hiking - I have my backpack, but don't want to spend my whole hike just digging through it. Z...
So....now that the hype is settling into reality. Is this game actually any good and worth the money?
If buying the Russian GOG copy, I'd say it's worth it. Costs <$1 p/hour of entertainment assuming you're only doing the main story quests, otherwise <30c p/hour.
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107?tab=description&BH=8 Made a huge difference for me. RTX3080 and I gained about 10-12fps with the same settings at 1440p.
