Anyone on a 2080ti tried config edits and if so any gains? Or just best for older GPUs?

those notes show how much they listen to the community, despite all the crazy glitch videos, t pose bugs and other shenanigans still having fun. expect them to really put the work in here as they will be looking to sell expansions and restoring their rep.

The AMD stuff would have an effect but I said from the start that CSV ram editing is just a placebo from people restarting the game.

Restarting the game alone has a massive impact for me. Like going from a slideshow back to well above 30+, yes even in crowded areas like the noodle stand below your apartment.

Realising this has actually pulled me back from the brink of impulsively pulling the pin on a 3000 series at current extortionate prices / pot-luck timeframes. Immediately after a restart, the performance is perfectly playable on a 2060 Super @ 1440p, high and RTX medium shadows + illumination and reflections, even daytime in the city. But at some point it will go down the tubes and you have to restart. Hopefully this is part of the AMD optimisation as I am also running a 3600.

Been playing this on linux via means of voodoo. Runs pretty good. Kinda annoyed PC users must wait longer for the 105 patch. :(

out of those id go ps5 once the next gen console update been done next year. PS5 is equiv of a 2080 or so and with right optimisations could be 100% quicker then the 580.

PS5/Xbone 100%, even the current version runs ok but the proper next gen version will be pretty good if it's anything like the PC version.

Thanks gents. It'll also be more fun to play on the big screen and will be interesting with the new controller. Now all I have to do is find a PS5. :tired:

Didn't realise my faithful little 8600k @ 5.0/4.8 is being maxed out running this. 100% on all cores running at 1440p Ultra RT and Auto DLSS. Still probably won't upgrade the CPU this gen but definitely next.

Interesting I'm around 60-70% CPU Usage and GPU usage 99% (8700k @4.8 / 2080Super OC'd) 2560x1080 on Ultra settings, DLSS quality and RT Ultra get around 45-70-fps depending where in the city.
