Finally!!!... I now have my Christmas holidays planned!
Early access trailer:
Already in and playing it, so far so good, the UI is much better.
already in. my steam news feed is full of so and so now owns dayz
runs awesome. getting a constant 40fps with pretty maxed settings 2560x1440
the best thing - no framerate drops. it's smooth as!
Anyone know how to rest? Apparently I'm exhausted. Found a rifle that I think has no bullets and a fire axe.
Just sit down
PS I hate you ****s who are already playing.....
- We estimate that reaching Beta version with all key features present will take more than one year from current stage.
Downloading at 190kbps
Steam is getting reamed I'm guessing.
Cant wait to get in and have a go!
How big is the DL?
How many zombie survival games are there now on Steam..?! I'm taking it since Dayz was the original, its still probably the best? I never played it, somewhat tempted to give this a crack.
I wouldn't call DayZ a zombie survival game in the traditional sense....
yes there are zombies but its more of a survival simulator with pvp/player interaction.
It's a 5gb dl.
I sat down for quite a bit and it didn't seem to make much difference.
I never have been a zombie guy in fact I usually stay away from the whole genre but I already had arma 2 and it was free so I thought why not give it a go... So damn glad I did, if it the mod didn't have the bugs I would have said it was close to my all time favourite game and that is a huge call for me. It's $30 dude give it a whirl.
From what I recall Dean was saying it took quite a while, you obviously have had food and drink?
I've been through quite a few houses and I've found one can of soda and some uncooked rice. And about 5 motorbike helmets...
Sounds like you need some food dude.
GOD I LOVE STEAM, remote purchase and downloading dayz as we speak. Will be ready by the time I get home WOOHOOO
Live stream, if anyone is interested.
Anyone know whether I should upgrade to haswell or ivy bridge-E? still running an ultra tired Q6600 :|
have they done any more work on threading? 6 cores worth it at all?
in about 20 minutes of gameplay i saw one zombie, that was it lol.
$30 for pre-Alpha. Lol.
