The DLC looks like rubbish tbh, appears they took out all the stuff that made Dead Island good:

Open World - Most of what Ive seen is set in those horrible sewer levels
RPG elements - Skill tree is greyed out and char and items are capped at lvl 15
Multiplayer removed - Say no more

Watch Giantbomb's Quicklook for an idea. Shame really, was really looking forward to it

For some reason i loaded up Dead Island today and i'm getting 20-30 fps... i have no idea why its frustrating. I have been getting smooth gameplay otherwise, but today, its horrible.

Edit: Wierd, i restarted my comp and opened the game up again, 230-270fps and its staying that way...

Fixed the above issue by rechecking the steam files, found a bad file, replaced it, now runs fine :)

The save system really annoys me, there needs to be a way to manually save. I lost a tonne of progress and made me rage quit.

The tail between the legs comment:

It was stupid, and I've never have bought it, but it still beats ingame DLC as a preorder bonus

I agree, it's a pretty stupid preorder "bonus". I understand that busts are "in", but really, what would you do with it? It's not exactly recognisable, like a duke nukem, or alien/predator bust.

Took a fair bit of time to finish this on co-op. Not a bad time sink but at the end I hated side quests and just wanted to get the main one done. :Paranoid:

Edit: The knife spec chick makes killing walkers fairly quick with the stomp/jump on head move; if anyone is looking for a faster play through.

I only played through this for the first time recently. For some reason i went in with pretty low expectations and was pleasantly surprised at how good the game was. I played through it single player and felt that was still a really cool way to play, seems to have a good difficulty level because you always have to watch your own back. The stamina system also adds alot to the game.
