    Flat as a tack

    Hi Everyone

    A Big Thankyou to “Killersaint” Jeremy, received the hdd & cables:thumbup:

    So every now & than the camera battery goes flat, got these pics in before it happened:(

    The cable hole/ access port received a couple of coats of glass
    the red box area will have a hole tapped so the cover can be removed/ refitted as required

    added a couple more layers of glass, still have to drill & tap the mounting holes for the rad mount

    Well that where the battery went out, ive got the 1st coats/ layer of body filler on, next update you"ll see it;)

    Hi Everyone

    Cable access hole
    mark it out, pre drill some holes,fibreglass the edges & recess, file to shape & size & recess the cutout

    the 90 degree pwr chord needs to fit the hole after refiling the glassed edges

    the backside recess to allow a bit extra cable clearance, all edges are rounded so no sharp edges to cut or fray the cables

    back mask the hole, but leave a gap so some glass & resin gets coverage all round;)

    shaped to size & trial fitted, just need to do some touch ups of the edges

    Time to make some edges in the cockpit, this will hold a plate/panel for the on/restart swicth & usb plugs
    start by shaping a dummy panel, fibreglass the edges

    Switch On Switch Off

    Hi Everyone

    It’s been a busy couple of days & some good progress was made;)

    Start by unscrewing the switch & reverse face the restart switch button, than mark out the location in cockpit panel

    Drill starter holes & file to size & shape

    Drill some holes for switch mounting to panel, i still need to get some mushroom allen head screws, but these will do for mock up purposes

    Repeat process for usb 3 holes

    Needed to trim excess off of usb pcb to allow fitment into cockpit mounting location

    So i guess the Heat Ex-changer Scope i'snt being bolted on now, using bog to glue it in situ

    Nice touch putting the little edge around the holes it's the little things that make the difference :thumbup:
