    Hi Everyone

    I'll brake this into 2 updates, only half way thru this part

    Final Base plate mod/s;)

    Some times we hold back with ideas, but what the heck, lets pull out the 4mm alloy plate & have some funnnnnnnnnn:)

    To help the old eyesight out, i use a marking texture before scribing the lines

    Jigsaw the main shape offa the rest of the sheet, than clamp the piece to the bench & cut to shape leaving some green that can be filed to final size/shape

    File every edge to the scribed line

    Drill the mounting hole for the upright mount bracket

    Trial of the EL wire for back lite of the logo, the camera flash takes away the effect, i'll add a couple of 3mm leds instead to get the desired effect

    right hand just had a spasm at the wrong time, so operator error:oops:

    This is where I got up to today:)

    More work on the mini gun arms
    These are the bits machined up from the last pix in last update, about to receive some more work
    Aldi $14.95 router bit set, they get the job done

    Mill is only spinning at approx 850 rpm, the bits work sweet at 20000 >30000 rpm

    I love my budget router bits! never blink an eye when i need to use em for soft metals :D

    I used to have a electric makita metal hand saw for trimming RSJ's and beams the guys onsite would run up and physically try to stop me from using it....

    Carbide is Carbide :D

    They look awsome mic it's amazing the work you can produce just from that one piece of machinery i'd love a shop tour some day :D

    yep, but some blokes still think that because their not a dear brand that they must be crap regardless of whether they have used them or not
    not much to see shop wise, but should be able to arrange something sometime after the new year, ive got ear plugs or ear muffs if you need thems, i luv a good chat:)
