Typically US release date. I've seen journos on Twitter talking about playing review samples.

Official release is Friday Nov 8 US time, so likely Saturday Nov 9 for us.

    [edit] Wrong. See this post.

Agreed but it’s shows how much faith Kojima and Sony have in the game!

yeah that's like a week of people being able to cancel pre-orders.

but avoiding stories because the press just HAVE to talk about spoilery stuff is annoying.

My issue is more that a lot of places are so desperate for clicks that they'll spoil everything and anything for a more exciting/clickbaity headline.

If games journos played by the unwritten rules, it'd all be good.

Can’t stand games journalism there all f*ckwits. Imagine working on something for years only to have the reveal spoiled by some prick like Jason schreier! There all rats imo

Reporting on news or current affairs I can understand but ruining a video game or movie reveal for the sake of some clicks is just pure scum.

There are exceptions to the rule. A handful still hold out for old fashioned values.

Sadly there's not a lot of money to be made in old fashioned values any more, which is why there's so few of them.

lol at that trailer having spoilers, maybe if I had any context to any of that WTF

Hideo games wouldn't be the same without the trailers leading up to release. Still looking great, get hype!

Interestingly, I read a reddit post a few months ago now, where someone explained the storyline. EVERYONE reading the thread doubted the veracity of it, and downvoted it to oblivion, but now it appears that the post was spot on from what I can gather. While I don't really like spoilers, it was so early on that it slotted right in with all the other conjecture theories flying around about what the fuck the game was actually about. In hindsight, I now regret reading it, but even knowing what I know now to be true, I'm still excited to begin playing this game.

lol, its going to be a pass for me at launch

the game looks so pretty but I don't think I have the patience for a hiking simulator at full price.
