    Hi all ,
As you may know I have set up 3 x 27 inch monitors (specs in sig :)) for gaming.
Anyway , decided to go for one good gaming monitor, maybe 4K ?
The 3 monitors were making feel sick playing games ( I know I was Sat too close but don't want to sit 20 feet away).
Need advice on a good gaming monitor from 28 to 32 inch (which is better ?) .Can probably scrape together about $1200 but would rather pay less but if I can't so be it .
    Any ideas please?

Hey bro, personally I'd recommend 27" Samsung CHG70 QLED, it's basically identical your CFG73 but 1440p with HDR. I think you'll love it since you liked CFG73.
    https://www.samsung.com/au/monitors/c27hg70
    https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/chg70

But another option might be 27" LG GL850 LED.
    https://www.lg.com/au/it-monitors/lg-27GL850-B
    https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/...eview-why-we-named-it-the-best-gaming-monitor

doh.. your triple monitor rampage only lasted 2 days.. qq

I'm thinking something just a bit bigger
    28 or 32
Also need something that lets the game stand out if you know what I mean.

    The LG looks nice
    Thanks
From my experience, Samsung are not top notch , nice but far from the best .
    Samsung make good phones ;)

No worries bro.. get LG if you can, and let us know how it compares against CFG73..

Personally I love the color on CFG73/CHG70 cos QLED(125% sRGB) and I think it's the best feature of the monitor, but color on LG GL850 might be even better cos Nano ISP(~135?% sRGB).

p.s. you might wanna also check 49" Samsung CHG90 QLED, https://www.samsung.com/au/monitors/c49hg90
It's very similar to having 2x CFG73 but much better cos no bezel imo(also overpriced, but you might not feel sick anymore on this monitor).
I think 49" CHG90/CRG9 would be perfect for RPG games(or less demanding shooter games like PUGB, CSGO, even CoD should be fine on CHG90, but not on CRG9), I might get one when Diablo 4 gets released(and if I really get into D4).

Checking things out and I'll probably go for a
    Gigabyte Aorus KD25F
Anyone used one of these ?
Just hope it's not to small
Think I'm over monitors wider than my table
Just hope it's ok as an internet mule display and good for watching YouTube

oo pure gaming monitor.. specs look awesome on paper.
I don't think 24.5" is too small for 1080p, and monitor like that should improve your kdr.

Btw what you gonna do with 3x CFG73? If you wanna donate them to me I'll pay the postage. :D

Actually looks like you got 5 options if you wanna go for pro gaming monitor.. they are all 24.5" 1080p 240Hz TN with 0.5-1ms response time(and they all come with cheat crosshair etc).
    Asus XG258Q - $579 (Oct 2017) https://www.asus.com/au/Monitors/ROG-Strix-XG258Q/
    Asus PG258Q - $749 (Jan 2017) https://www.asus.com/au/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG258Q/
    MSI NXG252R - $759 (Jun 2019) https://www.msi.com/Monitor/Oculux-NXG252R
    Gigabyte KD25F - $769 (Aug 2019) https://www.gigabyte.com/au/Monitors/AORUS-KD25F#kf
    BenQ XL2546 - $779 (Nov 2016) https://zowie.benq.com/en/product/monitor/xl/xl2546.html
( ) = rough release date in Aust

Any of these would be mad for CoD MP(unfair advantage ftw), I wanna get one myself.. lol

You(we) should def get one(i'm gonna look for a used one) so we can play like Toxjq.

I love 11:25 on 2nd video, and that was an easy shot for him.

p.s. looks like two more options
    Alienware AW2518HF - $503 https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/new...8hf/apd/210-AMQW/monitors-monitor-accessories
    Alienware AW2518H - $1019 https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/ali...18h/apd/210-ARIH/monitors-monitor-accessories

I'm gonna look for a cheap used one cos they are bit expensive and I can always resell second hand without losing too much money if I don't like it etc.
But not sure which model I'd go for if I was buying new.. MSI/Gigabyte model "should" be much better than Asus/BenQ since they are 2-3 years newer, but MSI/Gigabyte aren't really well known for making monitors, so..

    24" is 24" dude...

Should go 1440p 27" either 2560x1440 or 3440x1440 (ultra wide)

4k gaming is dumb the visual differences at 32" and under aren't worth the fps halving.

Well the big one will have to go....any offers lol .
I only bought the large table and extra filing cabinet to accommodate the 3 monitor set up .
Looks a bit bare but the monitor is amazing.
    Thank you
    Azzan
PS COD is running at about 240 FPS WITHOUT G-SYNC AND LOOKS SOOO NICE :)

Do you have access to trade section yet? i.e. https://forums.overclockers.com.au/forums/for-sale-pc-related.15/
You should be able to get decent price on 35" AOC AGON AG352UCG6 since it's almost brand new, but you'll still lose money selling it oc.. :(
Personally I'd just keep both(35" AOC + 24" Asus) since you just bought them.. you've already lost too much $$$ on selling 3x near new 27" CFG73s.. ><

p.s. I'd interested in 35" AOC(or 24" Asus) if you were in Melb, but it's bit tricky since you are in Perth.

Also for CoD MP, do quick play(and only tick team deathmatch, tdm 20 players ticked, maybe also headquarters) if your kdr is below 0.5. Try to stay near your team all the time and make sure to watch mini map(top left) for enemy(red dot) when your team has personal radar on.
For weapons, only use M4A1 or Aug or P90 or MP5(if you have it unlocked) cos they are op(think most people like M4A1 or P90 but I personally prefer Aug/MP5 over M4A1/P90).

Thanks for the advice on the 24" monitor , it's amazing :)
I will take all the tips you can give regarding COD .
You need to get one of these monitors .
The AOC is a really nice monitor but no gaming monitor full stop.

Heh no worries.. just to confirm you've got 35" AOC AGON AG352UCG6 + 24" Asus XG248Q atm?
I'd keep them both, cos you only just bought them. 24" Asus would be mad for games like CoD but 35" AOC would be much better for games like Diablo 4.

Upload your CoD MP gameplay on YouTube and post the link on CoD section(https://forums.overclockers.com.au/threads/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-2019.1265939/) then people should be able to give you some good tip. :)

I've been looking for second hand 24" 240Hz pro gaming monitor(https://forums.overclockers.com.au/threads/240hz-24-5-gaming-monitor.1274324/) since you brainwashed me, but I'll probably go for same model(24" Asus XG248Q) if I can't find any used one soon.
Have you tried the cheat crosshair built in to the monitor? I think that should def provide some unfair advantage cos you wouldn't need sight attached on weapons = faster aim down sight speed.

    Yes , a 35 inch OAC black edition (AG352UCG6)
The cross hair is cool , you don't have to aim and just pull the trigger .
It's a sweet monitor and looks good too .
Playing at 240Hz is so much different. Everything is smoother and the picture is really good.
Best $600 I have spent on this endless pit and I have spent some money on it so far .
You won't be disappointed if you get one.
I would still like to try the Samsung 27" 240Hz as well , just to see.
Tempted to get one of those as my second screen for windows.
BTW , I look at it like this.......
If you are prepared to buy a $2000+ GPU that can throw out crazy FPS , why wouldn't you get the fastest monitor you could or at least a very fast monitor ?

    lol awesome.. now I really want 24" 240Hz.. :D
But please keep 35" AOC for RPG games or browsing etc and don't buy 27" Samsung CRG5 240Hz cos it's not gonna be better than your 24" Asus 240Hz. :D

If you really wanna sell 35" AOC then pm me, I might be interested but it's hard cos you are in Perth.. :(
