Cheers mate tyvm :) still aways to go ! hopefully the best is to come :)

    Cheer mate tyvm :)

I was thinking about that, but it's an added cost... for now the Case itself has cost me Zero dollars to make... just time... the fans are the only extra cost

I could chuck in an rx580 but it's just not needed in the garage. If this was to ever become my main indoor PC then it would get my sexy 1080 :)

Maaaaaate :D as always sammy great to have you along for the ride :) ty again mate :D

Today i pondered for a bit on how i was going to attach the side window panels.... This is what i came up with

It starts out with to massive chunks of clear plex.... both are profiled to be exact copies.

    some sexy edging work.

The pc is layed on it's side

Still no where near how i wanted this finished but really need to get it installed and running for Bathurst this weekend :D

i quickly changed up the design on the psu cover, nothing perm but ok for now.

Next was to quickly stick on the other side window

And then stick it where it belongs :) or where the sun never shines!

I must say that the white does do it for me :)

All thats left to do is fire DL and fire up the iCue software for some custom effects

Over all pretty happy with the end result... being build from free scrap white with just a few dollars for glues etc it's been one of the more rewarding mods :)

i still have the other side to do .

    PSU cover MK3 !

This is what happens when you have "too much" plex to play with.... Toying with ideas , lines, overlays and more bending practice... chuck in a touch of hypercar style madness!

Purely for looks atm and not functional in any way.... With still a few for bits to bend up and panels to be added , then i'll "re-style" the outer to suit the inner a bit more :D

    Front fan enclosure

The first thing i did was to "box" the fans.... the way they were just sitting on the panel did look unfinished and not very "defyant like" :)
The original fan plate/panel was given a rounded back

The idea is the fans can just slide into the new housing

The the whole unit can be placed into the case , i may add some sort of ribs/lines.... not sure yet.

    PSU cover MK3 !

Pretty simple to start with... initially i did a bent version... but as yas will see... 0.5mm out and the whole plan wasn't going to work...

I can imagine what your thinking.......

The first of many bends... not the lest me going round the bend too!

    Ahhhh ha!

Some Venty action non functional just for looks

    Some more bendy action

    Getting there!

With a bit more venty and glue action almost there! Kind of a mod within a mod.....

Gives me ideas for my hardware test bench design :naughty:

Still a few more vents and panels to add.

    That PSU cover is amazing!

Will you still mount the 2.5” Drives on that angled section of the PSU cover?

Cheers MC ty mate @ some point i will do a second copy i'm thinking of a carbon colour scheme :D

Cheers PsydFX tyvm mate I ended up getting 2 x M.2's instead freeing up the cover... so prolly just those 2 drives and a ext usb for now

Cheers Mic tyvm mate just wish i could do what you do to metals :D

I wanted this new cover to have some disco but also wanted to keep it refined and to the side fins only with NO bleed thru on the side panels.. and thanks to Cheaps i also decided to go full Jap and add some front light !!!

A quick test to see if i could get just one fin to light was a win.

Next was to do all 4

Not too sure about the light bleed into the floor.... but the free underglow is a bonus :D

I plan on another very soon :) cheers mate tyvm :)

Cheers tyvm man! EXACTLY! finally some one see it :)

hahahaha no way Mic this is just way to much fun :) i dreamed of this stuff modding HP-3 almost 20 year ago!!! Check out the 2 vids :D

Thought i'd test the new cpu cooler light box and it really does go full disco! The side bits dont really work so i'll leave those off for now till i can decide on somthing that looks better.

The white really shows i have to do some thing with the GPU now....

But it's in "Full Disco" mode where the whole thing goes freakaziod :eeek:

The Vids show the side vents in sequential running mode.... The modes are going to be endless...
