So I finally got it all done. The dude (Daryl) got my chip back so god damn soon. Noticed a difference of at least 20degrees.. Very happy with the results, and Daryl was an honest treat to work with. Friendly as hell and prompt as shit. I'm from Sydney and he got this done as son as he got home in the later arvo. Would definitely recommend his services. My i7-7700K is so much cooler now, even under heavy load. Playing GTA V @ 120fps barely hits high 50s now, and it used to hit high 70s and even venture into the 80s.

Best you'll do in Oz I think. They have 5G tubes for $39 too, but unless you plan on doing a lot of delidding, the 1G from PCCG is ample @ $11.. You should get at least half a dozen or more uses from the small tube. A little goes a very long way. Its the same stuff, just the alternative brand.

Would also like to use this service on my 4790k. Using a h80i v2 and my temps dont seem very good. Wud like to see if a delid will help. Not even oc just normal use with turbo on im seeing higher than I'd like. Mid 70s peaking to mid 80s during gaming. 40 at idle with ambient being 30 give or take. I know they r a hot chip, checked seating etc. Set the vcore at 1.2v as gigabyte on auto had it at 1.28 normal! Headin2001 i wud like to use ur service if still avaliable. Pm u also.
Can you guys recommend someone else for delidding service in Sydney? I tried contacting headin2001. Sent him a PM, and replied to him in another thread. He completely ignored me, and doesn't reply back at all.
mate of mine tried to delid his 77k in a vice with a hammer, flew out and hit the wall suprised it still works lol
