Could be AU Optronics panels based on the spec.

I would wait for more manufacturers to use the panel to get the HFR.

TFTCentral review. Sounds like it has a new native 100Hz LG panel, the 120Hz OC is great, and 'zero' lag. Pity it's so expensive.

Even @ the discounted $1768 this is a hard pill to swallow, but It is the best gaming ultrawide available at the moment, and if you want an IPS panel, there is nothing coming up in the near future that will compete. I believe both Samsung and LG are expected to announce new DP1.4 & Gsync monitors next year, but we likely won't be able to buy them for 12+ months from now. The Asus PG35VQ/Acer X35 are at least 6 months away (and probably more) and using VA panels. I like the idea of Quantum Dot and HDR, but the actual performance of those monitors is still a big unknown, whereas the AW3418 is just overall good - low BLB, good response times, low input lag.

SIgh, I was set on holding out for the PG35VQ, but this is a very real alternative and available right now -_-

I spent 10 minutes in an online chat with a fairly hopeless dell sales person. He said the best they could do was $1889.1 as the $1769 price was part of a sale yesterday.
