Just ordered mine now. Claymen mentioned it on Monday but I waited. Should have ordered then. Ah well its only $20.

Hoping it arrives before Fallout 3 next week, I only have an old Samsung 19" right now. :)

Somehow mine is already with local courier. I only ordered it yesterday morning. So either their processing system has failed or I am in for a monitor very soon.

looks like dell put up the price by $20.... lame!

Was thinking i'd be able to get 20% from a dell rep, but turns out the dell rep code was leaked, so I cant. Then 10% ment 296. Then dell ups the price mid week so makes it 315 :(

    *vent*

Thought I'd grab an extra years warranty effectively canceling out my 10% off *shrugs*

Did anyone else grab more warranty here?

I made a DD transfer Saturday, so hopefully it won't be too long now :)

yeah i'm not into the extended warrentys too much. three years is already better then some. I might pay extra if it 'improved' the warrenty instead of just extending it. Like paying $15 for a 0 dead / 0 bright pixel policy.

I initially thought the same thing, then went with "why not".
It ain't exactly breaking the bank.

With the pixel warranty, I'm fairly sure you have 15 days to claim any defects.... so that's good enough with me.

    Sorry mate, just saw this.

I got an acknowledgment within the hour of ordering, and received confirmation the next day. I too paid by credit card.

Logged in this morning to see the status, and apparently it has left the factory and on its way to the land down under.

Nah. 3 years is quite good, I'm happy with that. Considering I just sold my 22" LCD after 2 years, and it still had a year's worth of warranty on it, I really don't see the point is extending it out another 2 years.

Been calling some Dell reps over the past two days, put the order through via credit card today. Confirmation email came about 3 hours after the phone call. ETA of 7-10 days to Hobart, though I imagine that this will be a fair bit shorter.

That is a speedy process, if only mine was like that.

My credit card got charged, so seems like the sale is going through.

Still waiting for my confirmation email.

But with the looks of it, i should be expecting it sometime early next week.

I'd be glad if it comes this Friday though :D, am I asking too much for a price of $296.09 ?

Mine reckons its with local courier now. If this arrives by the weekend I'll be so stoked...

edit: It is now sitting beside me here at work - Ordered Monday, received by the mailroom 10 minutes ago - that's insanely quick shipping from Dell!

I haven't received my order confirmation email yet, but the online tracking system actually shows my order now:

Based on what others have said, it will stay like this for a day or so and then give me an ETA?

Well I ordered mine Monday, got acknowledgement the same day. Got confirmation on the Tuesday, checked on Wednesday to see it was in transit with a local courier, and here I sit with it beside me on Thursday.

Their turnaround is pretty quick, I wouldn't be surprised if they do a bit of processing on your order this afternoon.
