Some older games may need some files changed, but most new games (at least a year old) should be fine.

What game are you trying to play? nvidia or ati?

That's going to be a very nice upgrade. I came from a 19" and even that was a good upgrade.

You ended up moving to a 30" didn't you? or was there a 24" in-between that upgrade?

yeah the screen size awesome

the colours seems very weird on the 24" compared to the colours on the 15" laptop screen.

    nice little find as well, I don't have enough power for H264 @ 1920 x 1200

all in all though, a very nice screen.

A bit of delayed reply. But i ended up getting my monitor for $360 and it came 2 days later. No dead pixels. Working a treat. Tried it on TF2, and Warhammer Online. They look great. Transformers 1080p rip looks sweet. Now all i'm worried about is my poor lil 320mb 8800gts not keeping up with my new res.

Oh and to save wasting my old 19" 4:3 LCD i have it in portrait mode next to it. Working really good so far. Thumbs up for this monitor as long as you can get it on special.

Back down to $399, with the 10% discount it sits at $360.

Anyone know any extra codes that I can use?

    Cheers!

They are way more expensive than the current 24" though, and imo they don't look as good aesthetically.
