    In the $11** range.

Best price I got was $1200 with a coupon + extended warranty (5 years).

If you can't put the price difference on the U3011 then the Dell U2711 is still pretty damn good and does 2560x1440 resolution.

When i moved to my Dell 24" with an AG coating 5 years ago i hated it. You get used to it after a while though, and with the quality of the full Dell IPS screens they still look pretty amazing

I had a U2711 and sold it due to the AG coating.. I cant stand it.

btw, this is what the sheet of AG coating looks like after being removed... mmm the clarity!

Fair bit of a blur but that's not really representative of it being right up on the panel.

Yeh thats true, I was surprised none the less when I saw the sheet of AG coating on various sites being so blurry.

U2711 is a brilliant monitor all the same, but I am seriously considering the Samsung PLS display instead simply because of the AG coating.. which is a shame, I would prefer the U2711, but I dont have the nads to try removing the AG coating myself.

Seems like it's a pretty delicate process =p I would probably fail if i tried, pretty bad when it comes to DIY thingos.

Work bought a few dell monitors recently, the Displayport cables were dodgy as hell. Screens were flickering and blanking out, some even losing signal completely. We bought some better quality cables and haven't had any issues since.

Not sure to be honest, as everyone sourced their own replacements. I brougt one that I had at home, IIRC it came with my HP monitor.

Just for reference i just purchased 2 of these for $229 ea without a sale - i used the dell chat function intending to find out when the next sale was ended up ordering the 2 monitors

lowest i've seen them is $218 during a 48hr sale at Harris Technology

    hope that helps
