Just ordered 3 and received my acknowledgment. Fingers crossed.
just ordered 5
Ordered three. Flatmate ordered three as well. We'll see soon enough!
oh well excuse me. It has been on ozbargin for a few hours now, and whirlpool for 5 hours, oh and lifehacker too. i think the first "few" has been well past by now. Ozbargain has had 3500 clicks to the dell website so far...
is that an order confirmation or an acknowledgement email?
your comments are useless in this thread mate, piss off
I ordered 1
come on confirmation!!!!!
Well on monday when your order is rejected, dont come on the forum to whinge.
If (on the very slim chance) it does arrive, i will officially apologise to you, and acknowledge you were right.
I threw down an order - worth a shot, it's like gambling but theres no chance to lose money
so how long did people wait for a confirmation email? I still havent got mine.
im not trying to be "right" just saying there is nothing to lose, so no harm in doing it
Someone I know has done this, he's got 4 so far today..
lol, wow thats awesome, but cbf really lol
wow i thought shops that price matched would be more careful than that i.e ring up dell to confirm.
anyway, received my acknowledgement email...its not confirmation...abit dodgy...
I know Werribee has called Dell up and confirmed that the whole thing is a pricing error and they wont be honoring the price, along with them contacting Bell St officeworks, whether this will affect my friend currently travelling all over the south east suburbs yet is yet to be seen heh
edit: seems he was refused price match at Mornington..
Tidy little day, making something like over $800 profit.
Ordered one just now got the automated acknowledgment email, don't like my chances. These kind of prices are bound to make them cheaper for some time while people who got them cheap try to sell them. Also instead of waiting for them to charge my account . I will throw the 20.9 into their account. Which is why i chose to pay via direct deposit to their NAB bank account, in doing so hopefully sealing the transaction.
direct deposit takes at least 24hrs to go through...
i would think the most direct method would be credit card
Yes but if i have already paid them and the money will be in their account (24 hours, during which time i am unable to do anything) so the sale is complete. Unlike credit card where they can choose to simply not credit it.
