nice set.. number 5 and 7 stand out as the most 'interesting' ones that draw the eye and make you want to see more.

no. 4 is nice. Really highlights the abandonment of the place.

dont mind #3, and like the use of WM on #7

no offence, but I dont get these at all? I mean I get the angles that draw you to wanting to see more...but I dont want to see more of these? Like is there a point to them all? To me they look like shots that would feature on a factory's web site. Maybe it just needs to be explained to me what makes these so good?

i.e. #5 is way to busy to be arty at all, and too warm to convey the emptiness of an abandoned factory. #1 is just an empty office with some reflections on the window that does absolutely nothing for me.

I guess its what I get out of taking them. My other threads including "Powerstation" "Cementworks" and "String Shop" are all missions Ive taken alone, so I get more of a feeling of isolation whilst doing it (and sometimes a bit of arse quivering when a rat or bird appears in front of you!)

"1" was the canteen of the factory. Its a shame I couldnt capture the light reflecting off the airborne dust in the room. I liked the refections, colour and perspective of the shot.

"5" was the old steam room. Greasy, very dark and full of pigeons and pigeon shit. I captured it the best I could with the resources I had.

Was all shot with 20D and 17-85mm.
