Diablo 4

From what I understood, you obtain paragon points while levelling to 60, but they aren't activated until you are level 60. Also now you get 300 paragon instead of 200 to use, but limit you to a maximum of 5 boards.
Also they are moving Glyph XP to Pits. So Pits will be 100% Greater Rifts, instead of Gem levelling it is Glyph levelling, with the same 10 levels higher for 100% chance to level it up, but with a change that @ 20 levels higher, you might get bonus XP.
Nightmare dungeons appear to only need to be done to get the items to open pits now.

Also Glyphs will go up to 100 and the radius will increase up to 5.

PTR patch notes are available but they will be subject to change during the PTR, so I would say nothing is final at this stage

I just saw Rob put together a chart for each new difficulty level. The debuffs in T1-T4 might be tough depending on if you get some good drops to mitigate.

The devs said at T1 all Mythic items have a chance to drop and as you go higher the chances increase. Im just wondering how much harder the Uber bosses will be if they are still be best source of gear drops.

At the moment when you are fresh to WT4 a Pit level 40 would be quite hard to clear and its not until you are near lvl100 and have most of your glyphs at 15 that the regular Uber bosses are viable, so levelling from 60 into paragons might be slower.

 

I was happy with the changes Blizzard was making as DIV charged ahead doing its own thing and sure I like D3 so I'll keep playing but still seems odd to make such dramatic changes. I hope the player base that apparently wants this can stop complaining now lol

 

Yay, did torment Andy solo for the first time! I'm 2 ubers short of finishing this build, it's going to be awesome when I get them. The coolest part is I've been grinding and grinding pits for stingy stones but the Andariel kill finished Destroyer level and dropped me a big bag of stones. In other good news I finally found and killed the last animal on the list and I got the award.

Just hit 100 on my first character and now at that shit point. Starting to hit resistance at pit 40, all normal bosses are cake walk, but can't even dent the super variations because my shit's not up to snuff, but can't get a mythic because my gear is shit. Stuck grinding out gear because I need better stuff to masterwork.

Frustrating to be stuck in this polar of extreme of everything too hard or everything boringly easy.

Random Trivia: i kept being impressed by the voice cast & especially the subtle performance of Symon (the scholar who opened the way for mother) - its no other than Abubakar Salim, who was wonderful as 'Father' in the short lived Ridley Scott series 'Raised by Wolves'. At least he didnt have to bung on a rancid Slavic/Russian accent like so many other cast members attempt. (like that poor woman who has to voice every random npc in game..)

 

This is easily the most I've played a season. 4 chars to level 100 full masterworked.
I've got a tab of mythics.
Just chasing the uber end game GA gear now, but the season is still enjoyable to play.

 

Agreed. Ive got 3 chars and the first time Ive 100% the seasonal journey, not just completed, which I usually do.
I havent had much luck with Mythics with multiple GA yet though.

 

if yas need stones let me know - i have 60+ but wont play season again - happy to dump mats to someone actually playing

EDIT: while I found the season fun, the new horde mode is IMO absolute garbage and so are Pits. I wish we had GR's like before, running the exact same map over and over... I just dont know the fighting feels shit in D4, I dont think I have looked at any elite packs enchantments once.. even pit 135+

Yeah, stones pls. Just finished my fireball sorc build so I'm also chasing GA ubers. Didn't know they existed until now so that's on the list. Only just got the Tyrael's this arvo so I haven't checked out how far I can push this A tier build, just now I soloed L6 horde and L100 pit and they were pretty easy.

Thanks last night to picklebutter. Bit of a power bump from those tormented boss runs. My benchmark is uber lilith; gone from struggling to get half a segment before dying to getting her to 50% of phase 1 before dying. It's my own challenge to clear her on my own.
