Not just the high end cards now. The 1050 ti cards also look like they are set to spike even in when coin market is down.
Paid like $380 for my RX 580 8Gb. Now it's almost $600. I want a second for crossfire. Not paying more than what I paid for my first GPU though, the 580's aren't THAT good for gaming!
I went to price out a desktop system and it seems GPU prices are quite high right now. Am i correct? I guess after this mining boom dies down they will settle?
This is ridiculous. I was going to get an Oculus + 1080 for what I thought would have been $600 + $650 = $1250 total, but the cards have jumped massively since I looked before EOFY. GTXs are approaching 1080Ti prices.
Apparently crypto currency has just jumped out of a plane, so hopefully we should see GFX cards price dropping soon. @josh take a look at the GFX prices lately, both red and green team have been heavily affected. 1080 and 1080ti prices have gone up.
Not sure you can blame miners for that. Seems to be a certain amount of profiteering going on over here as usual. Those cards are still the same price overseas.
well prices on newegg are just dropping every week. I've been checking EVGA FTW3 for couple of months, it went from $1095 to $988 today, also all the other cards are either holding same price or dropping down, not sure what is going on is local stores.
Welcome to the real world. We don't look well on it in here, community spirit and all that, but it's a perfectly reasonable way to make a living.
