I just bought a Highpoint Rocket Raid 2320 for $180 from a online auction site.

It arrived today and instead of the 2320 model, It's a RocketRaid 2322.

At that price I'm happy to overlook this and just keep the card, but only if it performs just as well. My problem is I can't tell what is different between the cards (other then different connectors) and can't find any data on how the cards perform.

looks like they are the same spec other than the 2320 having internal connectors and the 2322 having external connectors. Which may be a pain to route the cables back inside the chassis. i would send it back for a refund.

I think I'm going to have to, those cables are $150 each and I would need two.

The seller offered a refund, or he would buy and send me the cables, as far as I can tell its the same card apart from different connectors so I think I'll take the cables.

My computer is built on a test bench so where the cables come from doesn't really matter. I don't think I'll ever got a raid card as good or better then this one for same price if I got a refund anyway.

Apparently he had them all packed up, and had them labelled wrong.

I thought that he said the computer was on a test bench?

either way you could just do the dodgy and leave a pci slot open and route them through there as they are 1m long

The external ports are a different connector to internal ones...

The ones you linked are SFF-8087. The external ports are SFF-8088 as in the link Stanza posted.

If the seller offered you the cables for free and it will work with your setup (which it sounds like it will) I'd just get the cables.
