Does the 6800XT work fine with HDMI PCM audio?

Hi All,

I've been using Nvidia for hdmi pcm out to a receiver for audio, flawlessly for a decade or so, and am wondering if the new AMD 6800 XT's can handle it without flaking out when playing from different sources at once.

There are some complaints on reddit but it doesn't seem conclusive:
