Well I was running at 1440p 144fps but video is 1080p 24fps so even sharper then it looks in that.

Finished it the other day. Holy shit the last few levels have some intense fights... it never drops off like I feel 2016 did.

However, I did resort to the sentinel armour for the final 2 boss fights because I found them tedious more than anything. Ending is pretty disappointing lore-wise (yes I'm one of those people who enjoy the Doom lore). Wonder what they'll do with the DLC.

Bit of a change of pace going back to Ori and the Will of the Wisps...

I find marauders easier playing on nightmare difficulty. I found I paced myself properly, waiting for the green eyes, because I knew I was toast if they catch me. On easier difficulties I'd try my luck to catch them off-guard (no eye flash) and they'd end up hurting me. Everything else is harder though.

For a change of pace in the other direction try replaying it with the faster movement cheat on. It does make it a bit easy, but it's super satisfying zooming about in a fight, especially when you stack that with the faster movement after a glory kill rune.

First level sucked. Gets better especially once you get super shotty.

I enjoy getting the secrets and the things to unlock stuff in base.

I don't think I'll recommend to father in law though who loves shooting shit. He will rage quit when expected to double jump, double dash, swing off pole, double jump quadruple dash (with yellow thingy)

Eternal's such a weird game. Starts off so damn slow, taking forever to pick up the pace. Once you finally get the appropriate weapons and learn how to deal with enemies quickly and have some actual fun, it's over with nothing left to do. Can't even go trying to beat your times or something. And yet again, multiplayer is dead in the water with its stupid mix of demons/slayers.

Massive learning curve before it actually gets fun, But no reason to play it once you've gotten there.... wtf

I thought this was the point of the master levels? Once you're done with the campaign, just into the master levels to have it dialled up to stupid again for a bigger challenge.

Having watch some vids outlining, it explains the environment set ups and why some areas seem light on enemies as they're really used when done with the master levels.

EDIT: I wouldn't be suprised if there was a time attack/new york minute style mode added in where kills give you more time so it's a race to kill and keep your life clock up.

Oh good I finally finished the campaign. still missing 2 of the empyean keys though.

EDIT: I do like being able to run through nightmare difficulty with infinite ammo and lives :D

Finished myself last night. Icon of Sin was laughable compared to every other boss fight.

My only real criticism of the game is the mauraders (platforming elements didn't bother me at all). Flat out the most annoying enemy type with the worst management mechanics. The fact you cannot use the Crucible or BFG on them is just lazy design.

EDIT: Also disappointed that there is only one master level available currently?

i hate the marauders. they're only easy when you have god mode and infinite ammo.

Just finished it tonight, really liked it. Damn some battles were challenging but lots of fun. I am not even going to try Ultra Violence, just too sweat lord for me!

Loved the music, pacing was great and the levels were fun, basically just interconnected arenas :p

the final boss wasn't as challenging as i had thought. the marauders on the other hand, they were a pain in the butt to deal with.

Well if it was DRM for a cracked game its absolutely useless.

No different to valorants root level shit. If it stops cheats, good on em.

There is always the argument that they could go rouge and leak info but If my privacy was such an issue I wouldnt have facebook or google accounts.
