i've got a 6+ year old cpu (2600k) and I used to use a gtx 570 which is equivalent to a.... gtx 1050? and 60fps was quite easy, though that was before they implemented source engine 2.

The International tournament just finished with the 18 year old Australian 'Ana' in the final. $25.5 million USD prize pool.

Here is the final highlights, one of the best series to date:

What a grand final, I started watching from the second game and they were all close games. Each game had countless epic teamfights and turnarounds.

Almost makes me want to start playing again.

Ana played out of his skin those final 2 games. I was so skeptical that they could do it, but those madlads did it.

Ceb also carried the whole team on his back in that 4th game, also helped that LGD threw it a bit, but hey. You make your own luck in dota.

International on again, OG looking good coming out of the group stage into the brackets.

Most interesting it's been in a while, over 100 of the heroes picked.. got a few days off to watch the main event.

Was watching the OG games (simply cause theyre total ballers) and was in voice with a few mates. They were all confused when they saw the IO ana picks, was like "was that a misclick, is this a mistake, theyre fucked"

Such good dota to watch, even if TL isnt doing too hot (the team i follow)

anyone still playing? ive been playing heaps with mates recetnly. im about 170hr total for the game, and still feel like a complete noob. I reckon took 50hrs to win with any sort of consistency. Having a good team so critical.

Ive been watching tonnes of videos to help with learning roles / gameplay etc and i think its helped a lot.

Yer started playing again, the game takes a long time to learn but its quite a deep one. To understand what all the heros do at a reasonable level is probably at least 500 hours so yeah its normal to feel like a noob after 170. To be honest though you dont need to be really good to enjoy the game, just learn a handful of heros well and play with friends.
