In that case wouldn't a non-ts lens have sufficed? To focus on the apartment number and not the bride, and then to focus on the bride and not the background.

Perhaps. But my second body was somewhere else. Made use of what I had in my hand at the time.

Why not a mashup of the two in photoshop? Would be easy enough with some quick masking haha

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of some of your tilt shift work. If it is sequenced, perhaps do a storyboard/collage thing? That might make more sense to everyone else as opposed to two near identical photos. But I suppose it is okay if it makes sense to the client. It also doesn't help that the number 23 is extremely small and I personally didn't notice it until you mentioned it.

    I like #4 though :)

On another note, Nikon got back to me. $700 to replace and fix my D700. So not cool. *nerd rage*

Can I suggest a new thread every once in a while, rather than 1 super long thread.

This sub-forum doesn't churn through enough threads for the need to consolidate.

The more threads the better I reckon

Got bored with 20 minute exposures. So walked around with me headlamp on.

Time just doesn't pass as fast when one quits smoking. But at least I'll have more time!

Congrats Dan...worse habit ever. Not only does it -health + 2nd hand smoke... it affects togs as well.
Just got contacted today about "fixing" a photo with butts in between some sandstone building nooks. Damn smokers....

    Hey its that park!

Melbourne is so easy to shoot at. Everything is right next to each other. Sydney just has parking meter everywhere...

I was just about to say the same thing haha. I was down there today wandering about taking some shots. Carlton Gardens is just a haven for wedding togs! and there is so many good locations so close. Nothing like that up here in Albury at all... :upset:
