Im after the Logitech Driving Force GT for GT5 and I would like to know the best price.

DSE has it currently for $138 but I have seen them for $99 when they are on sale.

I want to buy it so I can play GT5 on it

    Thanks

$138 is probably the lowest you will find, i got mine @$99 but that was 2 months ago.

Supply and demand will keep them at a high price

Keep in mind DSE dont actually have any stock either.

I chased their $99 price for a couple of months and put one on raincheck when F12010 came out but couldnt get one or an ETA on when they would arrive so cancelled the order.

Ended up buying one second hand off ebay for $120 because there just arent any around

I got one from DSE Chatswood this morning for $138, they only had one left after that. Use the 'stock availability' option from the DSE website to find out who has stock left in your area.

Don't hold out for a $99 deal on this wheel, $138 is already well discounted.

I picked up up the other day for $138 at DSE, but like others said quite rare for them to have stock. Also i'm not that impressed with it, just feels really cheap but I guess thats to be expected for the price.

After playing with the G27 I don't think I could bring myself to buy the DFGT.

In saying that, I've seen plenty of stock in a number of JB stores.

I dunno, after playing with the DFGT I couldn't justify paying 3 times the price for the G27. I'm really surprised by how good my DFGT is.

Went to DSE in ACT, they had one left but could not find it... they said the other ACT stores had 3 or 4 left (too far), so went to JB near by and price matched it. I know there are better steering wheels but it should still beat using the controller!

Keeping my eye on stores for the $99 price again. Anyone else looking do the same and keep us updated. :)

yes, but if you are smart, you can trade GT5 in for $92 at EB (if you already have the game but no wheel)

so the wheel works out to be $173, which is still cheaper tahn buying it separately at JB (that is, if you cant find it for $138 at DSE coz its sold out there)

Wait for prices on the TM T500RS before buying a DFGT. It's got H.E.A.R.T ;)

Kaz just tweeted $500, and that doesn't include the gate shifter. Still might be an awesome wheel, but it's not going to be cheap!

Wouldn't call that a deal really. I called up my local DSE yesterday to check if they had any DFGT's in stock, they had one left so I got them to hold it for me.

Picked it up + GT5 for $220 last night

True, it passes G27 pricing so it's not worth comparing. Thought it might have been a cheap alt. to the G27

JB HiFi have the DFGT + GT5 for $249. That's more expensive than buying the wheel for $138 and the game for $85 :Paranoid: Dick Smith seem to be sold out as well.

But this is Perth where deals are scarce and stock is always low. Any price updates from over East?
