Absolutely one of the loveliest places I have been to, extremely beautiful and wonderful people and some of the best food I have come across. Also a great place for photography.

All taken with D700 and Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8

Feel free to comment any constructive criticism will be appreciated.

    Love the Sky in #1

Find some of the others just too oversaturated eg #10

Looks like a nice place and some great photos. 2 and 3 are my favs.
You've overdone the HDR in some of them IMO, severe halos in some (7, 18 etc)

Love #1 but others feel a bit over saturated and over done hdr

Yes I have to agree with the over saturation, looking at some of these on my work monitor I to find they are over saturated.

The halos on 7 and 18 are due to my poor mouse skills just not be carefull enough when removing the foreground layer.

I'll repost a few once I get from work.

Thanks for the feedback given so far.

Loved Dubrovnik and love your pictures, they capture it well!

Was the cat on the pier? I saw one sitting there with an old man fishing, I got the feeling he was there every day, he was the 3 we were there!

    Amazing part of the world.

Great pics. I actually prefer the black and white photos over the colour. Looks like some great buildings to capture.

I love the shots, looks like a fantastic place.

I agree though that on a few you got a little carried away with the sat slider. Too much red/orange in the roof tiles and too much blue in the sky

Maybe it was this old man?

So many cats in old town, I have plenty of photos of cats. You can tell that they absolutley love thier life, never seen such contented cats in my life.

Really its a lovely place and worth a visit if you are in that part of the world. I only stayed in Dubrovnik, next time I think I'll travel all the way down the Adriatic coast starting in italy and then head inland into Serbia.

Any way one more of the fortification.

And also some reminders of the war from the early 1990's

    Bombed out building.

Thanks for you're feedback and comments I printed a couple of photos I turned down the saturation on a couple of the ones that where mentioned to be to high and they come out brilliant. So thanks for you're input.

Hope it isn't considered rude to post in someone elses thread, but some nice happy snaps of Dubrovnik that I took last year.

Canon IXUS 850is (i think) compact 28mm lens. Not the best camera but it has served me well :)

LoL I didnt either.... but I took lots of photos of it from the wall top.

I actually drove from Dubrovnik all the way up the Croatian coast. Was one of my favouritce countries to visit on my trip.

I took this next photo in Plavitska National Park (sp) .... What does it remind you of?
