Each time I unplug from PC, my N95 detects a Garmin XT install and asks me to run it.

I installed Garmin XT a while back with no major issues, but now every single time i come out of usb mode, i get "Garmin Mobile XT Detected, Install Now?"

I'm thinking there's a left-over .sis file but i can't find it anywhere in the phones memory. any help?

 

Worse case scenario format your phone,
Delete the garmin folder if you havent already done so

 

But i use the program, it's just asking if i want to install it despite being installed and working fine

 

This happens to me also but I have a N82.

 

I get the same thing every time I power on my e71 from off.

Started when I updated Garmin XT to v5. I think it has something to do with the new installation file being in the root directory of the memory card with v5?

 

i do get the same issue however its only a small annoyance for "very cheap" gps
