I have a new system (AMD 1.4 with Epox mother board.
Ever since I got the thing the USB will not work.
I have used the VIA USB Filter, still no go.
I have tried everything I can still no go.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I will have to buy a USB PCI card soon as this is really annoying!

Everytime I put a USB device in, it detects something but will not list it, only it puts it in the Device Tab as "unknown device" in the systems list.

When I select on that device and direct it to the correct drivers, it will not except anyof the INF files off the correct driver CD for the device.

    Can someone help me please.

    Thank you.

If your sure you cannot get any usb device to work, take it back. Every company is allowed the occasional dud. Try all 4 ports, then make sure your drivers are ok, install the software before you put the device in, go into safe mode and remove the device if it is already installed (you might not see it in normal mode), good luck.

Yeah I have it working kind of

I have done all of that, but send it back.

I can get the devices working, only if I don't leave the device pluged in when rebooting or restarting the machine.

So it is OK.... Sending it back to me is not an options as I use my machine for my Digital Capture business.

I can not operate 1 day with out it.

Thank you for the 1 and oly reply. I appreciate your thought in fixing it.

    :D
