This guy's voice reminds me of the dude in Family Guy "I was going to bone my girlfriend but then she said there was no way."

interested to see where this goes, gun mods looks great, the world looks pretty boring in this video though.
Interesting, but typical Russian style gameplay dynamics... Must remember to keep pressing B to breath in and out, or die from asphyxiation.
Very keen on this. It looks like STALKER but more of an MMO survival shooter version...which is great Because i need something to fill the void of STALKER 2 not happening
Is it just me, or does the guy on the right on the main page (https://www.escapefromtarkov.com) look like Ragnor from Vikings?
Not just you. If it's not his face it's someone who looks a lot like him. I'm very interested in this shooter, especially if it has VR support. The leaning, crouching and gunplay would lend themselves well to VR I think. I liked playing ARMA with headtracking to zoom, crouch and lean. Made flying a lot more fun as well.
If it was ARMA with an engine that isn't a complete pile of turd I would be very happy. Loved arma/op flash point but the engine was just awful.
Indeed, haven't played a game that created such a unique atmosphere like STALKER did. So creepy, peaceful, beautiful and bleak all mashed together haha Having the NPC's speak their native language and a great ambient soundtrack really helped as well Hoping this game can fill the void of not having any new STALKER games
I just rewatched the youtube vid Foliage posted and I have to say, this looks awesome. I really want to feel like I'm interacting with the game world and everything therein, not just floating through it where you're able to take crazy chances and mostly have it pay off, unworried about getting dropped. I'm not sure where the gameplay feel and difficulty will head, but perhaps this is getting closer to "doing" and not just "playing" a game. Particularly if they take away the HUD, up the difficulty and minimise / remove any readily available healing opportunities.
More screenshots and what to expect from the game. http://wccftech.com/escape-from-tarkov-showcased-batch-screenshots/ Another one to look forward to for sure.
That looks freaking awesome. There's a guard rail alongside a road in one of those shots. I damn well hope there's an easy manner to hop the rail and move more like one would in the real world. Graphically the realism looks on point. Here's hoping they make it move and feel as lifelike.
