There was a small indicator on the page where you accept the task, to say it was timed. It was so easy to overlook though.

I've been experiencing micro freezes since the latest patch. Every 15 seconds or so. Anyone else having the same issue?

Been offline for about a week now (EOFY madness at work) and jumping online now on a Friday night and the OCE servers are DEAD! Like 4 people in lobby for factory.

Did something happen? Game breaking patch??

EDIT - Derp! Nevermind. Looks like they are in the process of an update

Yeh do it, it's good fun. And the basic pack is fine to get started.

I'm still very much at the beginner stage, and whilst I get owned sometimes I have other runs that are ok. It's fairly unforgiving but you can play it safe in some of the bigger maps and sneak around looting and building up your inventory and skills. Or you can Skav it for practice and funsies without affecting your main character.

Yep, NPC Scav for funsies and if you can get to the exit whatever loot you got you can keep.

Personally I wouldnt buy it until they fix they fucking stuttering, I have stopped playing because the rage inducing freezing is seriously making me want to throw my PC through the window at times.

Right now is a good time to jump on as the wipe hit on friday which means everyone started from scratch again.

Find the oceanic discord to find some team mates, itll be pretty rough if u try learn by yourself.

As for the stuttering and bugs, yeah they are defs a big issue but its not a reason to not buy it imo. Some people its more of a problem than others. My pc isnt the greatest anymore (4790k, ssd, 1080) but i dont seem to have the game breaking stuttering. Sure there are frame drops, but overall its fine and i dont get the freezes when in firefights that ppl report. Ive sacrificed some of the graphics settings to make it run decently. And u defs need 16gb of ram otherwise your askin for trouble.
