Europa Universalis V is apparently being revealed in the next day or two. For a likely release date of middle 2026.

So if you want another Paradox game that will be launched broken 2 years early, with dozens of features not included in order to sell DLC later that will also be launched broken and early, this might be the game for you!

Will probably be a day 1 buy for me. Spent a fair number of hours on EUIV. They are doing more complex societal modelling apparently.

I watched a youtuber's video about the release version and he said it crashed 30 times in a single game.

Hmm... I might wait and see how the hot fixes do their thing.

I hate that I'm tempted to spend full price on a Paradox game, of all things

Bought it, my first Paradox game, enjoying it so far but only about 2.5hrs in and utterly ruined my Byzantine experience by attacking the Ottomans too early and getting smashed.

Very complex, I don't understand half of what's going on, but I have watched videos previously on Crusader Kings 2 which piqued my interest.

And one of my subscribed channels looks like he will be switching from Total War to EU5.

    Here's a video if you've got a spare 7 hours
