do level 4s
Grinding back faction rep makes you want to kill yourself.
Check the eve forums, there is a 'faction repair' plan thead on there.
As far as tags go, yes they are exp$ because everyone knows thats one way to get rep back.
My main is 9.75 with Gal federation.. but 4 levels of connections is kicking my arse. I do a storyline and get 0.01 rep :\ and yet I still have decided to grind her all the way up to 10.0
In other news - I have a Nightmare with Imp Navy Tachyons and a Macharies with Meta 4 800mm autos an I've found I much pefer flying the nightmare so I've set myself the aim of training my forst t2 large gun skills (T2 crystals make me moist with anticipation).
Just going to leave this here
maybe change it so it doesnt download and instead post as an link?
clicked it being to tired....
just a quick question... When I try and download eve online I get an error about 1gig into the download "target payload not found". So I try the offline installer and download the payload file individually but I get the same error again. Anyone know why? I really want to play but I cant download the game any way!
Hi all. I admit I don't like when people ask for help without reading the whole thread first, but ... 8500+ posts, c'mon!?
I did some skimming, and found a nice skills summary to follow for a noobie, but it was from 2008. Is there a decent, up to date guide for noobs to follow to get started in Eve? Have used my googlefu to find a few online (like http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Getting_Started_In_EVE_Online), but can anyone suggest a good one they've used and can recommend?
Have a mate way too obsessed with WoW, and would love to convince him to try EvE instead (I loved Elite, Privateer etc, so hoping this might suit me better!) but he said the learning curve was really steep.
So anything to help me get a better understanding and enjoying it quickly would be great, so we could both get on board.
Also, would love some advice on any races or factions/corps etc to start with.
Finally, people talk of 21 day trials, but steam shows 14. Are there regular offers/deals for 21 days?
FWIW, I'd only be a casual/part time player due to limited game time.
Yes mate. I suggest this:
They'll take you through a whole bunch of EVE things to do for newbies. It'll give you guys a great idea of how to play and what you might like focusing on.
shift click overheat gives me a massive woody . seriously
Thanks, will start there
Theres a few links i've posted previously, most a long time ago. Ill repost them here for you.
This isnt bad for some of the basics either:
And a long post i did a while back. Most of it still holds true:
Join the OCAU channel... my main is usually in there so I'll answer a few questions if you want.
Specifically this page on our wiki: https://wiki.goonfleet.com/Recommended_Skill_Training_Guide
There is a 60 Day newbie plan to get you into isk making/useful fleet ships the quickest way possible while keeping your support skills up. It's on the private section of our wiki though but I might be able to send you the *.emp file if you ask nicely
If you sign up normally you get 14 day trial.
If somebody in game sends you an invite, you get 21 day trial, and if you subscribe, they get a free month subscription.
If you want a longer trial, PM me the email address that you'll use to sign up with and I'll send you an invite.
It must be the pinacle of 60 day training plans. How much isk do you want for it?
Thanks all for the info and offers.
Currently completing short study course, which I'll finish before I start this seriously
whats the ocau channel?
Pretty sure it's "OCAU"... It's mentioned on this very page, but also says it's rather idle most times...
yeah was on there last night and it was dead
most of eve is generally 'dead' during our TZ
Some of it is very active. Usualy Russian held space.
Sometimes, you even manage to get this...
Yes, thats 60 Tengu's getting bombed to death...
