Its a shame they feel the need to go 2x NF200. Surely they can go 2x 5520 chipsets, like some server boards, to get 72 proper lanes of PCIe 2.0. Even if 2x 5520 is more expensive than 2x NF200, i doubt that the prospective purchaser of this mobo is going to be fiscally limited.

Clever marketing from Evga however there is nothing really revolutionary about this board at all. Most current servers run boards similar to this minus the OC features. Oh and it will certainly be a wallet killer.

True true, servers have been doing dual sockets for as long as i can remember. Curious to see how they will market this type of board and of course its feature-set and price.

Yeah wonder if it will become something that is wanted by overclockers.

Man I wana see the performance of that thing with all top of the line parts.

It will certainly come in handy for 3DWank benchers. The PCI-E lanes can feed the GPUs and the dual socket S1366 CPUs will nab u WR or 2.

So in other words, instead of getting a pointless i7 980x, I could get another i7 920 + this board?! woot!

I'd really like to see a dual LGA1156 board (which would be like a modern BP6). Unfortunately Intel has probably made that impossible to stop people making cheap dual i5 systems.

looks amazing. no mention of usb3 or sata 6(gbps)
something this current is bound to sport them.

The "BBQ" part of that may turn out to be correct. A pair of 6-core CPUs combined with quad-SLI or quad-CrossFire (because you'd want lots of GPUs in a system this good) will probably produce quite a bit of heat.

Nup. He "reproduces" DVDs for a living AKA he is a pirate. But he has like three tri-monitor eyefinity setups in his house so I'm guessing over $20k worth of computer products alone.
