Currently setting up a billion 6200 to share a 4g stick in my van but the problem is that when telstra goes out of service (because the van is moving) it doesnt auto reconnect to 3g and has to be manually done.
What im proposing now is that i have a wifi dongle and want to wireless extend the wifi from the dongle to the new wireless extender. The reason i want to use the wifi dongle is that it auto reconnects to 3g in and out of bad areas
But sometimes the dongle will come out with me out of range of the extender
Will the wireless extender automatically pick up the dongles wifi when it comes back in range? Or will i have to manually reconnect it.

Also need an extender which will run off 12v which puts the ones which plus directly into the power point out of the question
    Wireless AC would be nice

    Any suggestions?

I guess free candy doesn't cut it any more to lure little children into a van. Free WiFi is the new candy!
