the dominance pot was one of the new ones but is identical to my old one only anodised black. the only issue was the height of the fins on the machs pushed half the pot out of the insulating shroud. during the session i wondered if this would hamper the cold transfer but as you can see in the last shot this was not the case

Time to get your own Ln2 generator then. I found plans for one that generates around 1 liter a day out of standard home parts and a 1/3HP compressor. I'm thinking of building one to run 24/7... 7 liters of Ln2 per week end sounds good for a bit of benching :) ;)

i read that guys build thread.. looked really good if not a little pricey. you know ln2 is a by-product of making welding oxy. if you do the ring-around, avoiding boc if you can, it is possible to pick up cheap. there’s next to no choice in ln2 suppliers this far north but you should have better luck in the capitals.

exactly the reasoning behind starting the thread, i think. this section of the forum has become pretty far from extreme for a while now..

not sure if anyones really making threads per se, more an offshoot of the general hwbot team thread (ie discussion there, pics of our efforts here)

edit: pro, love the G-clamp GPUs

Hopefully have some new stuff to share soon, just bought an M4E-Z and 2600k that does 53x on air, so once I have gpu vmodding and benching efficiency under my belt I should be having some fun runs with gpu on chilled water and cpu on ln2.
