Been benching my i7 980x this last week. Heres some pictures and results. The CPU still isn't at max frequency yet, saving it for cards that really matter :p (G80's and GTX 480).

    System:
    CPU: i7 980x 3003A Batch
RAM: Corsair Dominator GT, only 4GB as 1 stick has just died :(
    Motherboard: EVGA X58 Classified E760
    GPU/s: Changes every session

    Cooling:
    CPU: Kayl 2 Stage 2x ~1.3hp Cascade
GPU: Kayl 2hp Dual Headed SS Unit
    Motherboard: Soon Vapochill PE

I kinda broke Kayl's Evap Enclosure, so I had to build my own. It works, but the timber is getting warped, so next time i'll paint it or something.

My benching area/room as of a week ago.

Nice results:thumbup: your 980x is the same batch as mine.

Mine will be under LN2 and a cascade next week:D

Hopefully I'll be getting similar results

Fatguy is on track to take the outright points scoring lead for i4. He's already ahead of eva. (in hardware point scoring)

    Thanks guy

I benched vantage yesterday with the GTX275's, but I think my PSU is letting me down. Any higher then 5GHz 1.55vcore crashes in the CPU tests. So i'm trying later today with the 4pin plug and well as the 8pin CPU plug. If that doesn't help then I might have to get a new PSU :(

I also re-did all my insulation as it was getting far to iceing/wet. It should work better now and I made a new evap mount for the CPU and vapochill (for the NB). Just need some long skinner bolts for it, since NB holes aren't as wide as CPUs.

What's the best you've got in Vantage with the GTX275's fatguy1992?

You have to be single with a loungeroom like that don't ya? My wife would tear my sack off if I had all that goodness in the loungeroom.... :D

I got 28.8K with the 2x GTX 275's and 16.3K with just one. The score would be a lot better if my PSU wasn't letting me down.

I'm only 17 so still living at home, I forgot to answer that before. Its the spare room, just happens to have the spare lounge chairs in there :D

you can use a second psu to power one of the gpus
just short a the green wire to the black with and the psu runs constantly.
I have done that when running 2x 295's in the past

I don't think that its that, cause the same problem is there whether its dual or single GPU. I think that the PSU can't provide enough amps or something like that. I got a TT 650watt drive bay GPU PSU I can try though, to see if that helps.
